OOTD-style sketchy ink painting for a friend, for a Mother’s Day gift. Fun fact: I broke into a fancy wooden watercolor box I’m saving for The Future in order to steal its brushes. My old ones are basically swabs by now.
Portrait of my friend Beth and her boyfriend, for a birthday present for him. Daniel was drawn purely from photos, as I’ve never met him, but he was apparently satisfied with the likeness!
Promo pic for “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Dance”, a Beatles-inspired dance production by HopeDanceNYC. Last performance is tonight, my sister is in it! Brooklyn, NY at 7 pm!
Commission for my friend Morgan’s baby girl’s room. The room is fairy-tale themed so I went with this lesser-known Grimm’s. Snow White and Rose Red are sisters who help and befriend a bear. The bear helps them in many ways (in some versions saving them from an evil dwarf) and in the end turns out to be a prince who marries Rose Red (with a convenient brother for Snow White to marry).
Picking out a color scheme was really hard! I wanted a neutral theme with some bright spots, keeping the whole thing bright and airy.
